CheLee Tea is proud to partner with TAETEA, our largest supplier, renowned for its rich heritage and commitment to quality. TAETEA’s production base is located in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, a region celebrated as a major Pu’er tea growing area and home to the world’s oldest tea plants.
To ensure a consistent supply of premium raw materials for crafting Pu’er tea, TAETEA began implementing meticulous sourcing strategies in 2004. Today, it operates two expansive ecological tea gardens: Mount Bada and Mount Bulang, each spanning over 1,647 acres. Additionally, TAETEA manages more than 200 processing facilities across various tea-producing mountains.
With a storage capacity exceeding 60,000 tons of raw tea materials, TAETEA’s extensive reserves are a cornerstone of its strength and reliability. This robust infrastructure allows TAETEA to maintain the exceptional quality that defines its teas, ensuring every cup is a reflection of tradition and excellence.
